About the Role
As an experienced developer, you contribute to developing and improving our software. Working in
a small team of developers using an Agile-based approach, you address issues with an eye for
quality, risk, and customer interest. Communication with colleagues and sometimes clients is key
to achieving a successful result.
We use:
- Python and Django
- Frontend web stack: HTML, CSS, Javascript (future: React)
- MySQL
- Git
- Ubuntu Linux, Nginx
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement new features and functionalities in our software.
- Identify and resolve bugs and other technical issues.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure software architecture and quality.
- Write and maintain technical documentation.
- Review and improve the existing codebase to optimize performance and efficiency.
- Implement best practices for code management and deployment.

Legalsense is a leading developer and provider of online practice management software (SaaS) for legal professionals headquartered in Utrecht. Our team comprises about twenty professionals, and we expect to grow in the coming years. We often work from home, but you are always welcome at our office in a beautiful villa with a garden in Utrecht.
